Handmade Products for Sustainable Living

Plot & Craft is a small company specializing in handcrafted products designed to enhance organization, efficiency, and a serene home.
Our brand represents the thoughtful alternative to mass production—where every piece is created by skilled hands using natural, sustainable materials that honor both the Earth and the people who use them. We believe in the power of everyday objects to carry meaning, tell stories, and create legacy.
The product line includes items such as monitor stands, pencil containers, desk organizers, and aromatherapy boxes, all made from natural, high-quality materials. The business is driven by the belief that a clean, organized space fosters creativity, productivity, and a sense of well-being.
Plot & Craft combines the principles of the French concept mise en place—everything in its place—with practical design, crafting products that bring functional beauty to any home or office.
Our customers are curators of mindful living who understand that true value is measured in decades of use, beauty that deepens with time, and the peace that comes from choosing quality over quantity. We speak to those who see their purchases as investments—in their homes, their values, and their planet.
About the Maker (Walt McClure)
I’ve loved working with wood since helping my Dad with home projects as a kid. There’s something special about the natural beauty and uniqueness of each piece made with wood—it’s a connection that never gets old.
My focus is on products that have day-to-day practical use, usually helpful for organization around the house or to improve work efficiency. Over the years, I’ve learned the importance of keeping a clean, organized space. I’m not naturally tidy, but I’ve seen firsthand how a clutter-free environment can have a massive impact on mental clarity and well-being, especially in creative work.
I'm a self-taught woodworker and my path to this point has been shaped by solving real problems, whether around my home or for loved ones. I’ve also worked professionally in animation, software engineering, and media design, which honed my skills in creative problem-solving and resourcefulness. That same approach carries into my woodworking—each design starts as a challenge to create something both functional and beautiful.
Every piece is an original design that has gone through iterations to solve specific problems, with the ultimate goal of helping customers create a sense of harmony and ease in their spaces. Whether it’s taming a messy living room or optimizing a work desk, my aim is to reduce stress through thoughtful, intentional designs.
I connect with customers mainly by discussing their needs or specific products. Even a quick chat or a stray question can lead to a satisfying collaboration. It’s fulfilling to share a common goal, whether or not I have the perfect solution.
